Since 1988 David specialised in the Corporate sector, initially as a national Relationship Manager and then as an arranger of debt solutions including bank and non- bank led products. David maintains a number of key contacts within the banking sector and related areas including the accountancy and legal profession. To provide an Independent Banking review service to medium size businesses (eg Turnover c.£10m+), offering a holistic view of banking services used, with an objective of determining whether those banking services 1) are the correct services; 2) provided by the most appropriate Bank; and 3) provided at the right cost. The difference working with us will make Your specialist services • Most companies’ banking services are the result of many years of banking with the same banking partner. • Such services are rarely benchmarked against other service providers. • Most businesses don’t have the luxury of employing staff to review their banking requirements. Responsibility for banking will often be a part of an employee’s responsibility, but not the sole responsibility. • Business leaders are being increasingly ‘challenged’ (eg by other Board Members/ Owners) with the responsibility of making sure they are getting ‘best value’ but have a lack of resource to carry out such a review. • Our proposition will provide an independent review and allow businesses to ensure their requirements are being met appropriately.   • 3. Who we work with Medium size businesses generally have a wide range of product needs from their banks. Equally these businesses operate in a space in which banks are extremely competitive, recognising that as the business grows there is an opportunity for them to introduce more banking services. Target companies would therefore broadly have any of the following characteristics: • Businesses generating Turnover of c.£10m+. • Businesses with a ‘high’ debt requirement requiring structuring assistance. • Businesses with a wide range of banking service requirements (eg clearing, international business, overdraft, long term borrowing, HP etc). • Businesses who may be disillusioned with their current bank. • Businesses that find that their banks cannot satisfy all their needs.
  • 4. How we work Alignment Review Meet with Customer and carry out a review of the business, its aims and objectives and banking services used now or required in the future. Alignment Report Provide a report to the Customer to reflect on the initial meeting. Invite Banks to quote Based on the report banks will be asked to submit quotes for the provision of banking service. Review with Customer Review the banking quotes to determine best value. Implementation Work with the Customer to implement any changes. Reviews Option for regular meetings to review banking.
  • 5. A pedigree you can really trust I have had a 38 year banking career with Lloyds Bank. The first 10 years was spent in the Branch network, but since 1988 I have worked in the Corporate Sector. Experience in that field is detailed below, and it is this experience and my ability to build a relationship, listen to and understand what a Client needs and provide appropriate solutions that makesmeandPrimeBankingServicesLtdideallyplacedtocarryoutareviewofyourbusiness’sbankingrequirements: • National Responsibility for the arranging and structuring of Multi Bank Loan Transactions for the Bank’s ‘Mid Market’ customers (Turnover £100m - £1bn). • Transactions included the refinancing of existing debt facilities; M&A transactions; IPO listings. • Responsibilities included the negotiation of facility requirements with the customer, lawyers and other banks. 1978 – 2016 – Lloyds Bank Plc Head of Mid Market Corporate Loans – 2009 - 2016
  • 6. • Business Sector responsibility for the marketing, structuring and execution of Capital Markets solutions. • Solutions included Corporate Loans; Corporate Bonds; High Yield Bonds and US Private Placements. • Sectors covered included (i) Mid Market Customers (as described above); (ii) Retail Sector (eg Debenhams; House of Fraser; Next plc); (iii) Aerospace Sector; (iv) Drinks Sector. DirectorDebtCapitalMarkets–2005–2009 • National responsibility for the Marketing, arranging and structuring of Long Term Debt for UK Corporates via the US Institutional Market (Institutions and lenders being Insurance Companies and Pension Funds). Director and Head of Private Placements - 2000 – 2005 • Responsible for Managing the Bank’s Corporate Relationships with Customers in the Retail; Food & Drink; Local Authority; Utility and Wholesale Service sectors. • Responsibilities included managing the day to day banking requirements; tendering for new and existing business; annual renegotiation of banking facilities. Relationship Director, Corporate Banking – 1992 – 2000 Notable recent transactions include: • Loan Facility to support the DFS flotation. • Ongoing relationship with C&J Clarks (shoes) as lead banker for their debt requirements. • New debt facilities to provide for the development and expansion of Pinewood Studios.
