MIPI member companies’ rights and obligations apply to this MIPI Specification as defined in the MIPIMembership Agreement and MIPI Bylaws. This UniPro v1.40.00 draft specification is an update to the UniPro v1.10.01 specification. The UniPro v1.40.00 specification consists of two separate physical documents: ã MIPI Alliance Specification for Unified Protocol (UniProSM) , Version 1.40.00 ã MIPI Alliance Specification for Unified Protocol (UniProSM): SDL State Machines , Version1.40.00.It also references MIPI Alliance Specification for M-PHY , Version 1.00.00 to define the underlyingphysical layer. The SDL document is a part of the UniPro v1.40.00 specification. It provides a formal model of thebehavior of the specified algorithms. Note that in UniPro v1.40.00, an SDL model for all Layers(PHY Adapter–M-PHY only, Data Link, Network and Transport) and Device Management Entity(DME) is provided. The SDL model is intended to be consistent with the textual descriptions in thefirst document. In case of ambiguity in the text or an unintended discrepancy between thedocuments, implementers should refer to the SDL model. Backwards Compatibility The UniPro v1.40.00 specification with D-PHY physical layer was designed to ensureinteroperability with UniPro v1.10.01 and UniPro v1.00.00 versions.
