Duties included daily supervision, task assignments, and the preparation of bi-annual performance evaluations.  Prepare detailed Zoning Ordinance and zoning map determinations.

Responsible for coordinating the referral review of a wide variety of land development applications and projects. Additional duties included proffer negotiations, follow-up committee reports, and maintenance of the project files for public records.  Projects included, rezoning, preliminary subdivision, record plat, family subdivision, commission permits, special exceptions, site plans, and boundary line adjustment applications.  Participate in weekly evaluations of new projects and land development issues.  Coordinate with outside agencies concerning the proposed land development applications. Other Experience 1984-1988 Director of Planning and Public Projects City of Moraine, OH  Direct City annexation program.  Represent City at all Regional Planning Commission meetings.  Direct the City road improvement program.  Prepare a new City comprehensive plan to include all areas annexed into the City under the annexation program.  Attend all City Council Planning Commission public hearings.  Serve as the City representative on a nine-jurisdiction cable consortium and participate in the negotiations for a new franchise agreement.  Serve as the City representative to the Regional Solid Waste Advisory Board.  Design, prepare, and implement a new road improvement program that based the priority of road improvements projects on existing traffic volumes and roadway conditions.  Created a traffic light maintenance program to ensure all traffic lights were cleaned bi-annually and that all non-functioning traffic signal light bulbs were replaced within 24 hours.  Coordinate City’s computerized traffic signal synchronization with the adjoining jurisdictions. 1982-1984 Complete Auto Transit Operations Supervisor Moraine, OH  Supervise the night operations of an automotive delivery company distributing new vehicles via truck and rail transport to automotive dealerships nationwide.  Responsible for the scheduling and on-time delivery of all products shipped within the contract specifications determined by the vehicle manufacturer.  Supervise 250 Teamster drivers and supply all necessary company support to drivers acting as agents of the company.
