DANGER UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION ãKnow the state of the frequency and run commands from the remotesource before exiting the local mode.ãUpon entering the remote mode, the drive controller will respond to themost recent command from the remote source, even if it was receivedbefore entering or while in the local mode. Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or seriousinjury. Switching between local and remote mode isachieved with the LOC/REM key on the drivecontroller's keypad. The LOC/REM key can be disabled by settingparameter F732 to 1.When parameter F295 is set to 1 (factorysetting), a bumpless transfer of motor operationis achieved when switching from remote to localmode. For example, if the bumpless transfer feature isactive and if the motor is running at full speedwith the drive controller in remote mode, themotor will still run at full speed after the drivecontroller is transferred to local mode.Conversely, when switching from local toremote mode, the run and speed command isnot transferred to the remote mode. Uponentering the remote mode, the drive will operateon the run and speed command set by theremote source even if it was received beforeentering or while in the local mode.Refer to Figure1 for an example timingdiagram.
