Additionally, sentimenttowards theend of thetradealsotooka hitafterBarclays lowered India's FY14 GDPforecastforthecurrentfiscalto4.7 percent,saying thegrowthand fiscalhealthof thecountry arelikely toremainunderpressure, with2014electiondynamics adding touncertainties. ThemarketbreadthontheBSE ended inred;advances and declining stocks wereina ratioof 1150: 1214, while136 scrips remainedunchanged.Intheglobalmarket,whileononehand, Asianshares ticked up onFriday afterUS    jobless claims data pointed toanimproving labourmarket, thoughthelack of progress inbudgetand debtnegotiations inWashingtonkeptinvestors onedge. Ontheother, Europeanshares declined beforea reportonUS consumersentiment, amid concernthatbudgetwrangling inWashingtonwilllead toagovernmentshutdown.and alow of 19981.57 and 19674.38 respectively. Among the30-shareSensex, 6 stocks gained, while24stocks declined. TheBSE Mid cap indexended lowerby 0.16% and Smallcap indexendedhigherby 0.33%. OntheBSE Sectoralfront, FMCGup by 0.39%, ITup by 0.16%, HealthCareupby 0.02% and Oil& Gas up by 0.57%, werethetop gainers, whileBankexdownby 1.91%, Metaldownby 1.90%, CapitalGoods downby 1.62%, Realty downby 1.60% and Powerdownby1.46% werethetop losers inthespace.
